Good Boy Creative and Riot Games have completely changed the way the world sees esports. Through daily cinematic teasers for wildly popular games like League of Legends and Valorant, these two companies—working in tandem—tell the unfolding story of the tournament in real time. This builds hype for the audience in the stadium and around the world, while spotlighting top talent, international rivalries, and compelling personal stories.

I’ve been lucky enough to work on the post team with Good Boy Creative on these daily teases multiple times. Over the course of up to four weeks, we’re building a new video from scratch every day with a developing storyline. It’s a lot of work—but it’s fun, the team is awesome, and I always learn something on these gigs.
